Highlighted areas are the boosted periods
Preface: Our previous Meta Business Suite Ad Account faced a ban, after consulting directly with Meta, who recommended creating a new account. Unfortunately, this resulted in the loss of our previous data.
Analysing the current campaign, it yielded a significant outreach at a low cost ($0.05/click), particularly in Malaysia. Additionally, it proved to be an effective method for increasing our follower count. While it may not directly impact our bottom line or generate immediate sales, it has provided a cost-effective means of gaining real and genuinely interested followers, which could potentially aid in recruitment efforts in Malaysia when required and also as a vanity metric.
The ROI for "profile visits/view" is at an impressive 4.1%, while the ROI for "followers/profile visit" is also favorable at 2.9%. These numbers are encouraging, given that conversion rates for e-commerce typically range between 2-5%.
One notable setback in reach occurred when we boosted the commando post concurrently, resulting in a decline in reach despite targeting different regions. This experience indicates that boosting multiple posts simultaneously should be avoided in the future.
This was the first boosted post, and we had no option to perform any specific targeting beyond the default settings. Surprisingly, despite the lack of targeting, we managed to reach a wide audience. This suggests that displaying 3D models to individuals interested in 3D/GameDev may not necessarily guarantee favorable results. Typically, targeted campaigns result in lower reach but higher ROI, but in this instance, our ROI and reach were already satisfactory when compared to the commando post. The commando post's relative lack of interesting elements might have contributed to this outcome. As we accumulate more data over time, we can develop an optimization strategy.
To achieve similar results in the future, we can implement the following parameters:
